Coastal Federal Credit Union provides life savings protection insurance up to age 70. Insurance on the member is based on the balance in his life-insured share (savings) account in the Credit Union. Funds will be matched, upon approval, up to a $5,000 maximum (certain restrictions apply). Members are automatically enrolled in this program by virtue of their accounts at Coastal. This excellent coverage has been around since 1967 and to date over $1,023,951.00 has been paid out in claims to Coastal members!
