If you'd like to have your loan paid automatically with funds from another institution, you'll need two pieces of information in order to properly set up the transaction with your other institution:
- Our Routing and Transit Number - Coastal Federal Credit Union's Routing and Transit number (or ABA number) is: 253175494
- A properly formatted Loan Account number - Getting the proper 14-digit account number format for loan payments is a bit tricky, since all of our accounts are less than 14 digits. Learn how to get your regular base account number into the proper format.
Be sure to ask that your other institution use ACH transaction code 52, which is "Credit to Loan", otherwise the ACH transfer could post to savings or checking instead of your loan!
